To obtain a visa to Russia the following documents must be submitted:
1. Visa application form filled out in English, printed and signed.
IMPORTANT: please provide us with PASSWORD that you have created on the website. HELP NOTE: If you are unsure of an answer on the application, write “n/a” or “unknown”, so the application would let you through to the next section. If you are unable to provide us with electronically generated application form, we would be glad to provide you such assistance for $35/application.
Former Russian (or Soviet) citizens, who entered US after February 6th, 1992, please call for more information.
2. ORIGINAL PASSPORT, must be signed and valid for at least six months beyond the visa expiration day.
PASSPORT needs to have at least 2 clear visa pages. For non-US citizens COPY OF GREEN CARD, VALID US VISA, or copies of other documents of the US immigration services, which must also be valid for, at least six months beyond the applicant’s last day of stay in the country.
3. COPY of the birth certificate and copies of parent’s passports for minors under 18 only.
5. TWO PASSPORT-SIZE PHOTOGRAPHS recently taken (not older than 6 months) or submit your photo electronically via our e-mail for $8.00 per print. * The photo must be high resolution, full face, and front view, taken on a white background.
6. FOR TOURIST VISA: COPY OF THE TOURIST VOUCHER* issued by an authorized Russian travel agency.

7. FOR STUDENT AND WORK VISAS: ORIGINAL LETTER OF INVITATION from the Ministry of Internal Affairs or its Regional Office. A recent HIV test is required (not valid over 3 months). PASSPORT should be valid for more than 1.5 years.
8. FOR BUSINESS VISA: ORIGINAL BUSINESS INVITATION* or telex # through the Russian Ministry of Interior Affairs.

Citizens of Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden should submit national medical insurance certificate valid for Russia or guarantee of medical coverage from a Russian hosting organization for all period of stay. |

Notes:
In case of denial of visa by the consulate or cancellation, or amendments by client, visa processing fee is not refundable.
Visa processing time does not include mailing time.
Consular fees, processing time and requirements are subject to change without notice.
